Regulations
Hi everybody.
I just want to remind everyone that the forum is open to the public. There are no restrictions on who is able to access or view the posts. The chat box is linked to the main index page, and is therefore also easily viewed by any member of the public.
It is with this in mind that I want to ask that all our users refrain from the use of foul language both on the forum as well as on the chat box. There are alternaive ways of expressing views, that are less offensive. e.g. the use of symbols (@%#$)
I also urge all users to avoid the slander of someone's name in their posts. Due to the fact that this is a public forum, it may lead to an ugly situation and, although I do not know this for a fact, might even lead to legal action should that person read the post.
In the days gone past, these sort of regulations were not as pressing an issue as now, but since the forum's revamp, our numbers are growing rapidly, and I would like to keep the forum as friendly as possible.
Thanks for the incredible support and for turning BFS into one of the best forums on the net!
Now....Go catch some fish!!

Re: Regulations
Hi everyone, I'd like to bring some life back into this topic. I myself made a joke (in very bad taste
) today for which I would again like to apologise. This leads to unpleasantness on the forum which could be avoided, and should be avoided. Lets respect one anothers opinions, that is exactly what a forum is for, to discuss opinions, even if they differ, but as long as we don't make personal cracks/comments/jokes, all will be great in the land of BFS.

Re: Regulations
Hi Johan, thank you for your post.
Here at BFS we are not really a forum, but more like a family. Just like family members can sometimes aggrivate each other (I have two sons, so I know all about it
) so the members of this family are bound to do the same. Sadly, we as people often say things we regret later.
I truelly appreciate your message and I salute you for being able to apologise. Amazingly, sorry is a very difficult word to say.
In closing, I would like to say the following:
Men and fish are alike. They both get into trouble when they open their mouths.

Everyone on this earth are guilty of this thing, open their mouth and get in trouble. NOBODY, is perfect. So we all are like fish.

And so true.
